泉さんが微笑む。泉さんを見本にしているのだから趣味が合うのは当然でもある。周りからは私が年相応のバッグを持ち、失礼で他人行儀でもないちょうどいい距離感の喋り方をする「人間」に見えているのだろう？
「泉さん、今日店にいましたー？ラーメンの在庫、ぐっちゃくちゃなんですけどっ！」
ロッカーの方で着替えていた菅原さんが大声を出した。泉さんがそちらを振り向いて声をかける。
「いたよー。昼間は大丈夫だったんだけど、夜勤の子が、また無断欠勤だったの。だから新人のダット君が入ってるでしょ」
制服のチャックを上げながらこちらへ来た菅原さんが顔をしかめる。
「えー、またバックレですかあ。今手不足なのに、信じられない！だらか店、ガタガタなんですねっ。バック飲料全然出てないじゃないですか、朝ピークなのに！」
「そうそう。最悪だよね！店長、やっぱり今週から夜勤にまわるって。今、新人さんしかいないもんね」
「昼勤だって就活で岩木君抜けるのに！ほんと、困りますよね！辞めるなら、辞めるで。。。」

Izumi-san smiles. Since I am using Izumi-san as a model, it's only natural that our tastes align. From the perspective of those around me, I might appear as a "human" who carries age-appropriate bags, speaks in a manner that is neither impolite nor overly formal, and maintains just the right sense of distance.

Sugawara-san, who was changing by the lockers, shouted loudly. Izumi-san turned towards that direction and responded.
「いたよー。昼間は大丈夫だったんだけど、夜勤の子が、また無断欠勤だったの。だから新人のダット君が入ってるでしょ」
"I was there. It was fine during the day, but the night shift person was absent without notice again. So, the new guy, Datto-kun, is filling in."
制服のチャックを上げながらこちらへ来た菅原さんが顔をしかめる。
Sugawara-san, who came this way while zipping up the uniform, frowned.

「えー、またバックレですかあ。今手不足なのに、信じられない！だらか店、ガタガタなんですねっ。バック飲料全然出てないじゃないですか、朝ピークなのに！」
"Again, skipping work? And at a time when we're already short-staffed, it's unbelievable! The shop's so disorderly, it's falling apart. The back stock of drinks is totally empty, even though it's the morning peak!"
「そうそう。最悪だよね！店長、やっぱり今週から夜勤にまわるって。今、新人さんしかいないもんね」
"Exactly. It's the worst, right? The manager's actually going to do the night shift starting this week. Right now, we only have the new guy."
「昼勤だって就活で岩木君抜けるのに！ほんと、困りますよね！辞めるなら、辞めるで。。。」
"Even Iwaki-kun, who's on the day shift, is leaving for job hunting! Seriously, it's troublesome, right? If you're quitting, then quit..."
