泉さんが、ふと、私の履いているバレエシューズに目を止める。
「あ、それ、表参道のお店の靴だよね。私もそこの靴、好きなのー。ブーツ持ってるよ！」
泉さんはバックルームでは少し話尾を伸ばしてだるそうに喋る。
ここの靴は泉さんがトイレに入っている隙に靴底のブランド名をメモして、お店に出向いて買ったものだ。
「えーつ、ほんとですか！四つとして紺色のやつですよね。前にお店に履いてきてまたよね、あれ可愛かったです！」
菅原さんの喋り方をトレースし、少し話尾を大人向きに変えた口調で泉さんに答える。菅原さんはスタッカートのついたような、少し弾んだ喋り方をする。泉さんとは対照的な喋り方だが、二つを織り交ぜながら喋ると不思議とちょうどいい。
「小倉さんって私と趣味が合う気がするー。そのバッグもわかいいようね」。
